In this video clip of an interview of pundit Naomi Klein, listen for the theology. She is being questioned about the Occupy Wall Street protests broadly. The specific question is about the interactions between those who work on Wall Street and the protesters.
Notice how she talks about the abundance of God's world? We live in a world created by a God who loves extravagantly, who loves all of us (the 99% and the 1%), and whose creation has enough for every single one of us to live comfortably. God has provided maximal abundance. Who is to blame for hunger in the world? We have an obligation to share what has been given to us, with all of God's people.
